The Nigerian–Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) is a bilateral business platform dedicated to strengthening economic relations between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of India. NICCI serves as a strategic bridge connecting businesses, investors, and institutions from both countries, promoting collaboration in trade, investment, technology, and services.


Our Objectives

NICCI is committed to fostering strong economic and commercial ties between Nigeria and India by:

  • Facilitating, promoting, and protecting trade, commerce, services, technology, and investment between both countries.
  • Providing a platform for Nigerian and Indian businesses to identify and discuss issues of common economic and commercial interest.
  • Encouraging strategic partnerships and collaborations between members, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

How We Achieve Our Objectives

NICCI supports its mission through the following initiatives:

  • Maintaining a comprehensive database on trade and commercial activities between Nigeria and India.
  • Keeping updated records of trade exhibitions, conferences, symposiums, and business events in both countries and facilitating member participation.
  • Developing and sustaining reciprocal relationships with major chambers of commerce and industry associations in Nigeria and India.
  • Promoting business networking opportunities that encourage partnerships and investment.

NICCI Leadership and Governance

NICCI is governed by a Board of Directors composed of distinguished Nigerian and Indian business leaders operating in Nigeria. The Board provides strategic direction and oversight for the Chamber’s activities and initiatives. The High Commissioner of India to Nigeria serves as the Chief Patron of NICCI, reflecting the strong diplomatic and economic ties between both nations. The Board operates through sector-focused committees, each chaired by a Board member, to address key industries and areas of collaboration between Nigeria and India.


NICCI Events and Engagement

NICCI organizes strategic events and business engagements that promote trade and investment between Nigeria and India. Key events include the Economic Policy Forum, Export Masterclass (with NEPC), Pharma & Manufacturing Roundtable, and the Chairman’s Evening, one of NICCI’s signature networking events. NICCI also facilitates Business Matchmaking Meetings to connect Nigerian and Indian businesses for partnerships and collaboration.
